In all honestly, the year of 2017 was probably one of the worst years. So many horrible things occurred in 2017, that we were all happy to see the end of it. But during the month of December, my mum and me wanted to make the most of the time off we had and make some new memories to end the year with.
During the abundance of train journeys I’ve taken over the past few months to uni and back, I’ve passed so many posters advertising the Dunham Massey Christmas event. I decided to google it more and see what it was about. This is the first year they have put on a Christmas event like this before and it was a trail of Christmas lgiths through dunham massey ground. For those of you who don’t know, Dunham Massey is just one of the many national parks up north and the grounds alone are beautiful. Combined with Christmas lights? Well we can only imagine.
I decided to book a time slot for me and mum to visit it in the evening and here are some the pictures of the evening. Conveniently (!) I ended up booking it on one of the few evenings which was like 0/-1 degrees! Which was not so fun but still the lights were pretty.
