Twenty One

Twenty One

My 21st birthday was probably my favourite memory of 2017. It was the most perfect weekend spent with my loved ones and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

When planning my 21st weekend, I knew I wanted to incorporate all the family including the new borns and toddlers and have a fun-packed weekend. After some brainstorming, I decided on going to KickAir in Manchester. What attracted me to this, was the variety of age ranges which could get involved, I was conscious that there would be newborns with us, toddlers and adults and I wanted it to be a day where we all had fun.

KickAir has a soft play area for 0-5 year olds which meant all my nephews and nieces were able to enjoy themselves. As well as a trampoline section for adults, which consisted of obstacles courses and so much more. It meant that the whole day incorporated everyone’s needs and it was just perfect. When we came home, we ordered dominoes and completely relaxed (we were all sweaty and hot and exhausted so we defo needed it!). Since moving to Manchester, I’ve always noticed a house on the road next to mine which had a pantry. I ended up contacting them and deciding on my cake with Clare from CakeShine Hale. Clare is an absolutely amazing lady and I would 100% use her again. She was helpful throughout the process of simply enquiring about prices to final touches. I’m not a fan of super sweet cakes so for me I really just wanted a simple cake and after searching on Pinterest and deciding on what I wanted it to look like. I contact Clare and we worked on colour schemes and everything together. It came together perfectly. Thank you to Clare and her mum from Cakeshine for making a beautiful cake!

Here are some pics from the weekend:

A few days later it was my mums birthday, so I decided to get a cake made for her, and it turned out beautifully!

With love, Soph
